Tim Parrish grew up in the suburbs of Orlando, Florida. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. During his eight years of active duty military service, Tim served in an array of global and domestic assignments, including with the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group and The Basic School on Quantico. After ending his active service, Tim begin working full time as a part of the executive team of a private consulting firm where his team assist houses of worship, small businesses and other organizations with safety and security policy. Having been stationed in Northern Virginia several times, Tim adopted Woodbridge as his home and quickly got involved in local conservative activism.
Tim is a staunch conservative, who believes in the values of individual liberty, free market enterprise, fiscal restraint, and protection for the life of the unborn. Tim has volunteered on the campaigns of several Virginia Republican candidates, has been an active voice representing conservative values, and has been a featured author in local conservative publications.
Today, Tim is a candidate to become Chairman of the Prince William County Republican Committee. Tim hopes to refocus the party on the core values of conservatism. He wants to lead the effort to grow the party, increase community outreach and voter engagement. Tim wants to lead the party in increasing fundraising, building strategic partnerships with conservative groups and organizations, uniting behind their shared values in an aggressive grassroots effort.
Tim is a proven leader, having effectively led military operations and been a successful small business owner. He is an experienced professional, holding several professional certifications and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law Enforcement Administration and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies.
